After Jim Goertz opened with a raise, a short-stacked Cam Bartolotta moved all in from the big blind for his last ten big blinds or so. Goertz snap-called and Bartolotta discovered the bad news.
Bartolotta:
Goertz:
Bartolotta failed to find any help and became the first in-the-money casualty.
Cos Barillari got his stack all in on an flop holding the and was well out in front of Ryan Callahan's . The turn gave Callahan the lead, which caused some reaction at the final table. That was amplified tenfold when the spiked on the river to give Barillari the best hand once again!
Callahan was left with a short stack, and he got it in on the button a short time later. Art Demmerley called him from the small blind and the cards were turned up.
Callahan:
Demmerley:
"I like that," Callahan said referencing that his cards were live. Indeed they were, but it did him little good as the board ran out a clean .
Even though Callahan was eliminated on the bubble, he walked away with some cash as all the finalists had agreed to a $50 save for the bubble boy.
Event #16 is down to just 14 players, and one man who is thriving is Art Demmerley.

The big blind checked and Demmerley snap bet 50,000 (using two hands we might add). It worked as the big blind released his hand.
We missed the preflop action, but we do know that Sharman Olshan got her stack all in against Jim Goertz, who if you recall was eliminated from the Main Event earlier today just shy of the money.
Goertz:
Olshan:
Olshan had some kicker issues, and they didn't get resolved as the board ran out a dry .
Goertz is representing the family as his wife, Stephanie, was eliminated from the tournament earlier on.
