Budwey Bamboozled by Rivers

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

A big hand just took place that left Budwey Salhab talking to anyone who would listen, with good cause too.

It happened when action folded to Salhab on the button and he opened with a standard raise. After the small blind folded, Ryan Rivers announced that he was all in and Salhab called off for approximately 65,000.

Salhab: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Rivers: {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Rivers was caught with his hand in the cookie share, but he would not be punished as the {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop delivered him the lead with a pair of deuces. The {7-Diamonds} turn strengthened his position by giving him a flush draw, which he completed when the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the river.

Salhab was beside himself while Rivers silently stacked his chips.
