Raimondi checked, his opponent bet 10,000 and Raimondi shoved all in for a little more than 30,000. The other player went into the tank before deciding to call with the for a set, but Raimondi was in front with the for a turned flush. The completed the board and Raimondi doubled to 84,000.

A new format is being showcased at the Summer Slam this year. Starting on Monday, a $125 buy-in no-limit hold'em event will guarantee a minimum of $50,000 to the prize pool. The event will span four days, with the first three featuring six separate starting flights. Players may enter into more than one flight, and any player that finishes more than one flight will take their largest finishing stack forward to Day 2.
