Sonny Rattan Eliminated in 5th Place ($2,607)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Darrin Bracken won't soon forget this rollercoaster of a hand.

Bracken raised to 210,000 from the cutoff and Sonny Rattan shoved for 635,000 from the button. After getting an exact count Brackin pushed the calling chips into the pot.

Bracken: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Rattan: {K-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts} flop gave Bracken bottom set, but Rattan recognized that he wasn't dead yet.

"How 'bout a ten," he pleaded to the dealer.

Turn: {10-Hearts}

Rattan pumped his fist at the sight of his straight, but Bracken still had plenty of outs to send Rattan to the rail.

River: {6-Clubs}

Bingo. The table exploded as Bracken hit quads on the river. Rattan shook his head and made his way to the cashier.

Darrin Bracken raised from the small blind and Siavash Banash shipped it all in for around 800,000. Bracken called and was in excellent shape.

Bracken: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Banai: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} board gave Banai a sweat on the turn, but he whiffed on the river en route to his sixth-place finish.

Sweeney Raises the River

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Four players limped to see a flop of {6-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and all of them checked to the {J-Hearts} turn. Action checked to Chris Ventura who bet 175,000 and only Michael Sweeney called, bringing the {6-Spades} on the river. Ventura fired again, this time for 250,000, but this time he was met with a raise to 750,000 from Sweeney. Ventura tanked for a long time before letting it go.

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 6,000 ante

Siravash Banai committed his stack preflop with the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} against Peter Raimondi's {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop gave Raimondi top pair and a big lead, but Banai took control when the {J-Clubs} hit the turn, giving him Broadway. The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Banai secured the double.

Tomasz Werstler shoved for 405,000 from under the gun and Peter Raimondi flatted from middle position. Action folded over to Alex Rivera, who counted his chips and pushed him into the pot. Raimondi called, creating a huge three-way all-in.

Raimondi: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Werstler: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

A runout of {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts} gave Raimondi the entire pot, making him the new chip leader. Rivera and Werstler made their way to the cashier.
