Shevelev and Reyes Continue to Clash

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The final three players have spent a large position of Level 29 swapping small pots, which Aleksandr Shevelev and Guillermo Reyes clashing on more than one occasion.

In a recent hand, Reyes limped the small blind and Shevelev exercised his option with a raise to 350,000. Reyes called and then check-called a bet of 250,000 on the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop.

Both players then checked the {k-Spades} turn as well as the {5-Hearts} river, at which point Reyes showed the {9-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of nines. It was good as Shevelev mucked his hand.

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Zachary Hammons limped the button and Guillermo Reyes called from the small blind. Aleksandr Shevelev checked his option from the big and all three players saw a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Two checks saw Hammons bet 425,000 and Reyes check-raised to 1 million straight. Shevelev folded and Hammons paused for a few beats before moving all in. Reyes took his time and then laid down his hand.

In the last hand of Level 28, Zachary Hammons limped the small blind and Guillermo Reyes checked his option from the big.

Hammons check-called a bet of 300,000 on the {9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and then check-called one of 400,000 on the {8-Clubs} turn. Both players then checked the {3-Hearts} river and Reyes showed the {6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a flush.

It was no good though as Hammons had the ace-high flush with his {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Nicolas Alberto Kohan Eliminated in 4th Place ($13,854)

Level 28 : 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante
Nicolas Alberto Kohan - 4th Place

Nicolas Alberto Kohan limped the small blind and called when Aleksandr Shevelev put in a raise from the big.

The former then check-called bets on both the {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop and {6-Hearts} turn before checking for the third time on the {j-Clubs} river.

Shevelev moved all in and Kohan went into the tank debating what to do with his remaining 2 million. Eventually, he called and discovered the bad news as Shevelev rolled over the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a turned flush.

Kohan rapped the table, showed his {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and then shook hands with the final three players before heading to the payout desk in fourth place.

Eitan Aloush - 5th Place

Eitan Aloush moved all in under the gun for 675,000 and Aleksandr Shevelev called from the button. Both blinds folded and the hands were turned up.

Aloush: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Shevelev: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Spades} flop paired both players but Shevelev remained in front. Neither the {5-Hearts} turn nor {4-Diamonds} river helped Aloush and he was sent to the rail in fifth place.

Shevelev vs. Reyes

Level 28 : 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante

Aleksandr Shevelev raised to 150,000 from the cutoff and Guillermo Reyes called from the small blind. Eitan Aloush came along from the big and the three players saw a {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop.

Reyes checked, as did Aloush, and Shevelev bet 175,000. Only Reyes called and then both players checked the {k-Spades} turn as well as the {j-Clubs} river.

Reyes showed the {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} but it was no good as Shevelev had it with his {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.
