Final 21 Players Remaining in Flight 1b Have Bagged for the Night
After a grueling hand-for-hand that saw eight all-ins where the short stack survived each time, there was suddenly an all-in and a call on two of the final three tables of the flight.
On one, action folded to the button who jammed for a little over 100,000 and was snap-called by Vic Guardino in the big blind.
Once action was given the go-ahead by tournament staff, Guardino turned up the A?A? which was way ahead of the 8?8? of gis opponent on the button. The Q?10?10?2?5? board changed nothing and the bubble had officially burst.
Once that hand was completed, hands were exposed on the other table after an all-in on the turn that was called by Sandra Main.
On a board reading 7?5?4?K?, Main showed the K?Q? which was well ahead of the 5?6? of her opponent and when the 10? came on the river, play was halted for the night as two players were sent to the cage to chop the min-cash after having busted on the same hand.
A short write-up on flight 1b will follow.
