The Second Flight of the RGPS Tunica Main Event Begins at 11 AM
After 177 entrants came out to play yesterday, the RunGood Poker Series is excited to see the second flight occur out here at The Horseshoe Casino here in Tunica, Mississippi. With a $200,000 guarantee on the prize pool, players will have many rewards to look forward too as the Main Event will also award a free seat to the RGPS Thunder Valley Invitational in November and those much sought after Golden Player of the Series points.
Leading the way of the 22 survivors is Jeremiah Hastings who ended the day with 588,000. Securing his second ever Hendon Mob cash, Hastings saw himself rocket up the chip counts with a massive pot with ace-king against pocket sevens to put him into the chip lead and he never looked back after that. Sitting second on the leaderboard is no stranger to RGPS Main Events as Michael Chilton sits with 471,000. Last season Chilton made an impressive two RGPS main event final tables at this casino and Hollywood Casino in St. Louis. Darrin Yoder rounds out the podium with 440,000 as the RGPS regular looks to secure his first RGPS ring.
