The new year is upon the poker world, and with it comes a new season of The RunGood Poker Series, starting off at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tours first stop saw a total of nine events, with the largest being the $600 Main Event, with Flight 1a starting at 6 PM tonight and boasting a $100,000 guarantee on the prize pool.

Two massive promotions are going to be in effect this season. For starters, for every side event this season they will ship a care kit out and for every main event, ten care kits. In addition, RGPS will be selling Limited Edition RGPS Checkpoint hats where for every purchase, a care kit will also be sent out to our service members abroad. The second promotion will see the inclusion of the dream seat, which will see one player make their way to PGT freeroll at the end of the year.

Last September saw a total of 472 entries come out to play this event. After the dust settled, it was Shantanu Garg who ended up taking home the lions share of the prize pool for $40,555. Gargs first live victory saw him taking home not just his first RGPS ring, but his first live victory ever.
