Leading the way is Derrick Yamada with a whopping 942,000 who caught fire late in the evening by first rivering a one-outer with pocket tens against Scott Aulds pocket aces and then eliminated Sando Yin on the bubble when he hit a running flush versus a flopped set. Coming in a distant second is Randy Shamo with 426,000 followed byJeremy Clemons with 189,000 to round out the top three.

Fortunes were not on everyones side as the day saw many players fall by the wayside. RGPS Ambassadors Daniel Hughes, Caitlin Comeskey, Nikki Limo, and Taylor Howard all failed to advance but will be back in full force tomorrow. Local regs Mark Feinberg, and Tavish Margers will also have to look to the following flights in the hopes to bag for the second day.

The 12 survivors will return to play on Sunday, November 19, with blinds at 4,000/8,000 unless one of the following flights finds an earlier endpoint. Tomorrow, Saturday, November 18 at 11 a.m. will see the kickoff of Day 1b and 6 PM will be the beginning of Day 1c, as well as the last chance to secure a bag for the second day. With unlimited re-entry in all tournaments and registration open until level 9, players will have ample opportunity to come play for their shot at RGPS glory.
