Day 1a of the RGPS Kansas City $1,100 Main Event has officially come to a close as 149 entrants battled it out on the felt with 18 remaining after the dust settled. Leading the way isShane Fuller with 568,000 and following in second is Salvatore Termini (475,000). Coming in third is Chris Juul (543,000) and in fourth is Spencer Sanchez (427,000), with Zhi Zhou (362,000) rounding out the top five.
RunGood Ambassadors Preston McEwen, Blair Hinkle, andGrant Hinkle all played today's flight and both of the Hinkle brothers managed to find a bag! (Grant- 312,000/Blair- 62,000)

There are still two more starting flights to be held tomorrow in the RGPS Kansas City Main Event; Day 1b at 11:00 a.m. and Day 1c at 5 p.m. The final day will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. when all players combine for a chance to be the next RGPS Main Event Champion where they will be presented with a ring and a big payday.
NOTE: Players who bag may still play in the two remaining flights as they will choose their best bag for Day 2 while receiving a min-cash for unused bags.
