$102,225 Awaits the Winner of the RGPS Cleveland Main Event
A total of 590 players came out to play the RunGood Poker Series $1,000 Main Event at JACK Casino in Cleveland, Ohio. The initial guarantee set on the prizepool was smashed as a total of $508,580 was collected for the prizepool. The final 78 players will each be guaranteed $1,500, while all eyes will remain on the $102,225 that will be awarded to first place.
Leading the way is Shane Pierce, who ended their day as the only player to cross the 600,000 chip threshold with 601,000. With the biggest stack of the tournament, he looks to add a better podium finish to his RunGood results after finishing runner up in an event last year. The other chip leaders of their respective flights are Shmaryahu Lewis (558,000) and Chase Hounshell (589,000).
