Bierman Makes Correct Fold in Big Spot

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Josh Bierman raised to 3,500 under the gun and was called by Scott Carolus to his immediate left, Emily Snow in the hijack, and Benjamin Skelley in the big blind.

On the {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, after Skelley checked, Bierman continued for 10,000. Carolus then raised to 35,000, which got folds from Snow and Skelley, but Bierman had to give his decision a bit of thought.

With approximately 50,000 behind, proceeding in the hand would likely commit the remainder of his chips, so after some deliberation, he chose to fold {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} face up.

His fold proved to be correct as Carolus showed {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for top two pair and the winner.
