"The Best Comeback You've Ever Covered"

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Kyle Kitagawa
Kyle Kitagawa

Kyle Kitagawa was all in blind for less than one big blind with three callers and the board ran out {4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the other players checked it down before turned over {a-}{3-}, {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Kitagawa peeled his cards one at a time to reveal a {9-Spades} and a {10-Spades} for a pair of tens to take the pot and stay alive.

"This will be the best comeback you've ever covered," Kitagawa said as he stacked up the pot.

A very short time later Kitagawa was all in again with three more callers. The board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades} but Kitagawa turned over {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the pair of sevens wasn't good enough to beat his opponents set of tens.

The comeback was over, but Kitagawa still has a chance to jump back in before registration ends in Day 1c, and a fresh flight will get underway at 6 p.m. for Day 1d.
