There are a handful more players visible throughout the tournament area with Level 3 underway. One such player is Wes Gauthier, who is well-known locally for his family's eatery, Strawn's Eat Shop. Strawn's is famous for its strawberry icebox pie, which Gauthier has been known to bring to the table and share with fellow players on occasion.
Though he is not seen with any pie in front of him, that doesn't mean Gauthier doesn't mean business. The Shreveport resident recently took 13th in the Southern Poker Open Main Event here in Bossier City in August, 2019, marking his most recent cash among over $75,000 in live earnings that also includes a WSOP Circuit Ring won here in Bossier City in 2011.
