Welcome to Event #15: $1,200 5-Card PLO High Championship here at the luxurious MGM National Harbor. With the $2,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event already well underway, today marks the final championship event at the 2023 Potomac Winter Poker Open.

Back in 2020, Michael Vierheller bested a field of 40 in the 5-Card PLO championship for the trophy and $19,494 first-place prize. And just earlier this week Manuel Herrera won the $500 5-Card PLO event, who is sure to try his hand at this year's championship event along with several other PLO enthusiasts who have participated during this year's open.

Players will begin with 40,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/100. Each level will last 40 minutes and registration/re-entry for the event will remain open until the end of level 11. Play will end for the day after level 12 and the surviving players will return for Day 2 on Monday, February 6 at 2 p.m. to play down to a winner.
