The action was picked up on the river and John Anderson retold the action after the hand.

As he explained, Anderson opened and was called by Ari Engel on his immediate left. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Anderson bet 3,100. Engel called. The turn was the {10-Spades}, Anderson fired again, this time for 7,400, and Engel again called.

The river came the {4-Spades} to pair the board. Anderson bet a large chunk of chips that was enough to put Engel's remaining 20,300 at risk.

Engel assessed the bet and talked out loud to himself for a few moments before eventually putting the rest of his stack in for the call.

Anderson tabled the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair and Engel said "That's good." He then turned over the {7-Spades}{5-Spades} for the same two pair but with the far inferior kicker as the king on the board was trumped by Anderson's ace and he was left without any chips.
