The World Championship of Online Poker continues at PokerStars, and WCOOP-01-H: $109 NLHE [Phase 2], $1M Gtd will begin shortly.
This is Phase 2 of the tournament, in which over 1,100 players have already qualified. Phase tournaments allow for different starting phases which play for the same amount of time before all remaining players combine in a single, larger tournament, like this one. Players will start with the stack they finished with at the end of their play in Phase 1.
Some of the notables who have qualified for this phase and have a stack include Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle (473,269), Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot (329,298), Ben "Spraggy" Spragg (504,173), Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (146,186), and Fintan "EasyWithAces" Hand (309,823).
This WCOOP-01-H: $109 NLHE [Phase 2], $1M Gtd is a two-day event with Day 1 kicking off at 2:05 p.m. EST. All blind levels will be 15-minutes in length with the day starting at 3,500/7,000 with an 875 ante.
Players will start with the stack they accrued from the first phase and play will continue today until there are only 27 remaining contenders. The second day will be held tomorrow at 2:05 p.m. EST and will play down to a winner.
