Another high stakes tournament of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker 2020 has wrapped up for the night as Day 1 of the WCOOP-73-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, Main Event] has ended.

There were 726 total entries logged in for the first day and only 205 players survived the night.

Among those 205 runners, only three players eclipsed the one-milly mark and those include Guilherme "guilherme12" Decourt (1,458,730), "Zagalo87" (1,414,407) and Richard "raconteur" Gryko (1,084,327).

Other notable players holding top stacks include Jens "Jeans89" Kyll?nen (933,004), Mathias "Cashcid Linc" Maasberg (836,791), Eder "edercampana" Campana (377,574) and Patrick "pads1161" Leonard (796,991).

Many notable players showed up to take a shot at a WCOOP title with many failing to find the run good needed for a Day 2 birth. Some of which included Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, Patrick "prepstyle71" Serda, David "EzPaTuLa" Cabrera and Jens "Fresh_oO_D" Lakemeier.

Luckily for those players who have busted and haven't used up their 3x maximum re-entries, they will have the option of entering the tournament one hour before the second day is slated to start.

Stay Tuned for Day 2

The action will resume for Day 2 will Monday, September 21, at 1.10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), and will play down until only 18 players remain.

The blinds will remain at 20 minutes in length, with all players getting a five-minute break 55 minutes past every hour. Once the final 18 players are reached they will bag up and return for Day 3 action Tuesday, September 22, at 1.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
