Chop It Up?
Action was opened in early position to 1,000 by Kenny Huynh. The next player to act was Aubrey Williams who put in a three-bet to 3,300. A player in late position called and action was back on Huynh who took his time before moving all in having the other two players covered.
Williams checked her cards and ultimately put in the call. The late position player folded and they were off to a full board, heads up.
Aubrey Williams: A?K?
Kenny Huynh: A?K?
No reason to panic for either player as equities were running even...until the Q?J?3? flop. Huynh would still need to be the victim of running diamonds to lose the hand so things weren't grim yet. The turn brought the scare card in the 5? and the table let out an audible gasp. The dealer burned and rivered the 2? and unfortunately, Huynh was on the wrong end of a brutal runout.
Williams got the double and Huynh took a hit, but he is still very much alive in this tournament.
