"22EPL" Crushes Day 1 of the 2021 PASCOOP-36-H: $300 NLHE Main Event
The 2021 PokerStars Pennsylvania Spring Championship of Online Poker saw Day 1 of the Main Event, a $300 buy-in, $200,000 guaranteed tournament, kick off in spectacular fashion today, as 637 players generated a total of 1,015 entries (including 378 re-entries) to smash the guarantee and build a total prize pool of $284,200 to divvy between the top 143 spots.
After a brisk seven-and-a-half hour day, it was "22EPL" going on a tear at the end of the night, including busting "Danieldanielson" on the last hand of play to bag up a staggering 9,823,595, which is nearly double their nearest competitor, "kingboss93". Patrick "WTF6619" McCormick returns as the short stack, and he'll have some work to do with just 531,562 to begin Day 2 play with.

It was a rough day for the PokerStars Ambassadors, as Keith "whoopsboom" Becker, Jennifer "JenShahadePA" Shahade, and Mark "NaigoPA" Foresta all fell short of making the money. "WHATWHYNO", Matt "thewhitesmith" McNeil, and Matt "shutdafkupdonny" McKinney also were unable to break through for a cash.
The money was reached around the sixth hour of play, after "wolfofbroadst88" got rivered by "PrincessLump", who managed to parlay that elimination into 104th place for a $610.43 payday. Joining them on the rail with some cash were "KaseyAngela" (60th - $973.47), "CoreytheLoud" (86th - $770.86), and Nick "cooooooch" Amicucci (115th - $610.43).
