Day 2 Completed

Congratulations to “TrashNinja00”, Winner of 51-M: NLHE [8-Max, Main Event], $100K Gtd

And that's a wrap folks! After over ten hours of play, spread out over two days, "TrashNinja00" has emerged victorious over a field of 391 players to take home $19,938.52. They had to defeat two notables in the final three, as Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara was the runner up, while Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari earned third place. All three players earned over $10,000 for their showings.

When the final table started, it was Madara who held the chip lead, fresh off of a knockout holding pocket kings. It was another big hand, pocket aces for "PhillyisGarb" that saw to the elimination of "GivnUstrokes" in 9th place.

After that, Sangannagari was next to get in on the act, when his pocket tens won a huge flip against "jordanofpkr." The next elimination was eeringly similar, as pokcet nines did the deed this time for Madara, busting the Ace-Jack that was held by "PhillyisGarb" this time.

Madara kept up his eliminating ways, this time busting "TiltedHard" in sixth place. Madara held a dominating lead when the two got the chips in preflop, and that lead never went away.

For the first time at the final table, the eventual champion "TiltedNinja00" scored a knockout after flopping multiple draws, busting the pocket kings of "Zlajamiest" with a turned flush.

The eliminations fell back on Sangannagari for the fourth place bustout, who was "RunninItUp98." They would three bet shove after an opening raise, but behind them, Sangannagari woke up with pocket sevens, and called to bust them.

His momentum was short lived, as Sangannagari would fold his way down to just a handful of big blinds. He would put that small stack at risk from the small blind, but they were never able to catch up to Madara's King-Jack, leading to heads up play!

“TrashNinja00” started heads up with a small chip lead, and that lead would slowly grow until the final hand, where five bets from each player went into the middle preflop. Madara was in a dream spot, holding pocket aces to the tens of “TrashNinja00", but a ten came right on the flop to give “TrashNinja00” top set. No miracle ace came after that, and a disappointed Madara would have to settle for nearly $15,000 in cash. Check out a full breakdown of the final table below.

Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara Eliminated in 2nd Place ($14,427.86)

Level 35 (150,000/300,000/45,000)

Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara made it 600,000 to go from the button, and “TrashNinja00” three bet it to 1,800,000. Madara went for a four bet to 4,800,000, and “TrashNinja00” five bet shoved all in, having Madara.

Madara was happy to call with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, and he was looking great to double into the lead, as “TrashNinja00” showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. However, everything changed after the flop of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Madara was now looking for running cards to survive, but the {6-Diamonds} was no help, nor was the {8-Diamonds} river.

Madara, who started the day as the chip leader, will have to settle for $14,427.86, while “TrashNinja00” will take home $19,938.52. Stay tuned or a full recap of the Day 2 finals.

"TrashNinja00" Extending Their Lead

Level 35 (150,000/300,000/45,000)

"TrashNinja00" limped in from the button, and Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara checked his option. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and both players checked. The same happened on the {a-Diamonds} turn, but when the {8-Diamonds} hit the river, the fuse was lit.

Madara went for an overbet of 900,000, but "TrashNinja00" suddenly wanted to play for more, making it 3,390,000 to go. Madara called, but was forced to muck when "TrashNinja00" rolled over {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a rivered full house.

Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari Eliminated in 3rd Place ($10,440.41)

Level 34 (125,000/250,000/37,500)

Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari was down to his final seven big blinds when he called all in after Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara set him all in. Sangannagari's {q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} was behind the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Madara, and Sangannagari was left drawing to runner runner after the flop came down {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. The {4-Spades} turn gave Sangannagari a bit of hope, but the river was the {8-Diamonds}.

This leaves play heads up, and the two have already made a deal to split what is left and play for $2,000, meaning each player has locled up about $16,000.

“RunninItUp98” Eliminated in 4th Place ($7554.98)

Level 33 (100,000/200,000/32,500)

Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara raised to 400,000, and next to act, “RunninItUp98” moved all in for their final 1.5 million. Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari would then four bet shove over the top to isolate, which got Madara to fold.

Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
“RunninItUp98”: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Sangannagari was in great shape to score the knockout, and he would do just that, as the board came down {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Just three players remain now!

“Zlajamiest” Eliminated in 5th Place ($5467.00)

Level 33 (100,000/200,000/32,500)

“Zlajamiest” was the latest victim of this fast paced final table. On their last hand, they raised to 400,000 from under the gun, and "TrashNinja00" was the lone caller on the button. The flop came down {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and the fireworks were lit. “Zlajamiest” checked, which led "TrashNinja00" to fire an even 1,000,000. “Zlajamiest” fired back with an all in shove for nearly 3,500,000, and "TrashNinja00" called with multiple draws.

"TrashNinja00": {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
“Zlajamiest”: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The hand officially ended when the {4-Spades} turn gave "TrashNinja00" the nut flush, getting play down to just four players now!

“TiltedHard” Eliminated in 6th Place ($3,956.08)

Level 32 (80,000/160,000/25,000)

From the button, “TiltedHard” raised to 320,000, and chip leader Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara three bet from the small blind to just over a million. “TiltedHard” went for a big four bet shove of nearly six million chips, and Madara made the big call holding {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. They were dominating the pocket nines of "TiltedHard", and the jacks held for the big stack, as the board came down {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

With that pot, Madara now has nearly half of the chips in play five handed.

"Zlajamiest" Doubles Through Sangannagari

Level 32 (80,000/160,000/25,000)

Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari opened the action under the gun with a raise to 320,000, and he got two callers, including "Zlajamiest" in the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and "Zlajamiest" led right out for 320,000. Sangannagari raised to 2,150,000, enough to set "Zlajamiest" all in. They called with {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, and were well out in front of the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Sangannagari.

Sangannagari had just two outs, or running cards to win, but the {2-Diamonds} on the turn gave "Zlajamiest" an unbeatable flush.

“PhillyisGarb” Eliminated in 7th Place ($2862.73)

Level 32 (80,000/160,000/25,000)

After Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara raised it up under the gun, “PhillyisGarb” moved all in for their final 1.7 million. Action folded back to Madara, and they made the call with pocket nines. It was another coin flip, as “PhillyisGarb” showed {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Once again though, it was the pair that held, as the board came down {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, giving Madara an unnecessary set on the river.
