Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Julian Thomas
Julian Thomas

Thomas Muehloecker limped the small blind and Dario Sammartino raised to 80,000, which prompted a fold from Muehloecker.

Exactly one hand later, Muehloecker raised to 55,000 on the button and short stack Julian Thomas defended his big blind. On a flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Thomas checked and Muehloecker continued for 36,000. Thomas moved all in for around 240,000 and received a quick call.

Julian Thomas: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Despite flopping the flush, Thomas was drawing dead as soon as the {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn, making the {10-Clubs} river a formality. Thomas received 124,150 for his efforts and the next payout step is worth 171,300.

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Jimmy Guerrero
Jimmy Guerrero

Jimmy Guerrero limped in from the small blind and Charlie Carrel simply moved all in from the big blind to force a fold.

One hand later, Thomas Muehloecker raised to 60,000 from late position and Guerrero three-bet to 165,000 on the button with around 470,000 behind. The action folded back to Muehloecker, who waved his hand to see the remaining stack of the Frenchman. Muehloecker then announced all in and Guerrero quickly checked his stack again before calling it off.

Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Jimmy Guerrero: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Guerrero failed to get there, joining the rail in 9th place for a payday of 102,620. All remaining eight finalists have 124,150 locked up for their efforts and Muehloecker jumped into second place overall behind Julian Stuer.

It's All About Carrel and Stuer

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

After coming back from the break, Julian Stuer defended his big blind against a button raise by Charlie Carrel and check-folded the {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} flop to a bet worth 80,000 by Carrel.

Then, Stuer raised to 75,000 in the small blind and Javier Gomez Zapatero moved all in to claim the pot.

Last but not least, Carrel opened to 53,000 in the hijack and Stuer called on the button. On the {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, both players checked and then invested 75,000 each on the {Q-Hearts} turn. Carrel checked the {A-Diamonds} river and Stuer let the clock run down until three seconds before announcing a bet worth 260,000. Carrel gave it some consideration and folded.

Murad Akhundov Eliminated in 10th Place (87,040)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Murad Akhundov
Murad Akhundov

Murad Akhundov raised to 45,000 from under the gun. To his left, John Juanda made it 135,000 and action was folded back to Akhundov. The Azerbaijani shoved all in for 380,000 and Juanda snap-called.

Murad Akhundov: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
John Juanda: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

It wasn't the first time Juanda had three-bet Akhundov in the past hour, who folded on earlier occasions. The first time he four-bet shoved he ran into Juanda's monster and didn't escape on {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Akhundov received 87,040 for his tenth place finish.

The nine remaining players will redraw for the unofficial final table.
