Kisacikoglu Doubles Through Peters

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 45,000 from early position and was called only by David Peters in the big blind. The flop fell {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Peters checked before check-raising a continuation bet of Kisacikoglu from 45,000 to 125,000. Kisacikoglu called and the {4-Diamonds} on the turn brought a bet of 120,000 by Peters and a call by Kisacikoglu.

After the {8-Clubs} river, Peters let his shot clock run down to five seconds before announcing all in and Kisacikoglu only wasted a few seconds before calling it off for his last 277,000. Peters had a dry smile when rolling over his {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, and Kisacikoglu had the better kicker in {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to double up.

Preben Stokkan

Preben Stokkan raised to 45,000 from the cutoff, Sergio Aido three-bet to 120,000 on the button, Stokkan four-bet shoved 694,000 and Aido called it off directly.

Preben Stokkan: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Sergio Aido: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The big coin flip landed in Stokkan's favor on {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{K-Spades} and he collected the 70 big blind pot.

Toma Spikes a Lucky Double

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Igor Yaroshevskyy limped in from the button and Tsugunari Toma moved all in from the small blind. Guillaume Pau Davy shoved over the top from the big blind and Yaroshevskyy quickly folded.

Tsugunari Toma: {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Guillaume Pau Davy: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop took away one out from Toma and he was asking for an ace. That indeed appeared on the {A-Spades} turn and Toma turned around, not wanting to see the last card. It was the blank {6-Spades} river and Toma doubled for 394,000, cutting the stack of Davy in half.

Aido and Ensan Meet Again

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised to 40,000 and Kfir Ivgi called in the hijack. David Peters three-bet to 180,000 on the button and claimed the pot.

One hand later, Aido made it 40,000 to go and Hossein Ensan called from the button. On the {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, Aido checked and called a bet of 30,000 by Ensan before the duo checked the {10-Diamonds} turn. Aido bet the {4-Diamonds} on the river for 125,000 and Ensan quickly tossed in a chip for the call.

Aido rolled over {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and that won the pot, Ensan mucked a ten.

Christopher Kruk Eliminated in 16th Place (30,500)

Christopher Kruk
Christopher Kruk

Christopher Kruk raised to 100,000 from the hijack and the action reached David Peters in the big blind. Peters moved all in and Kruk checked the other table, waiting for his shot clock to run down to two seconds before calling it off since there was a small pay jump between finishing 16th and 15th.

Christopher Kruk: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
David Peters: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{3-Spades} improved Kruk, but he fell behind on the {J-Spades} turn. Another spade would result in a split pot, yet the {6-Clubs} river sent the Canadian to the rail in 16th place for 30,500.

Who Will Win the 10,300 PokerStars Championship High Roller in Prague?

Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

At 12:30 p.m. local time, the third and final day of the PokerStars Championship Prague 10,300 High Roller will kick off in the Hilton Prague. It's the last day of the first and only season of the PokerStars Championship, as the popular EPT-brand will be making a comeback in 2018. Along with the Main Event, the High Roller will play down to a winner today.

After two long days of ten hours each, a field of 256 players has been whittled down to the last 16 hopefuls. Each of them is already guaranteed at least triple their investment (30,500), but the lion's share of the 2,483,200 prize pool is still up for grabs, including the first place price of 498,000.

Sergio Aido is coming in as the perennial favorite to win it all. The Spaniard had a big Day 2 at the tables and brings 2,147,000 to Day 3, enough for a towering lead over his nearest adversary Danny Tang (1,593,000). The highly experienced 29-year old Spanish poker pro dragged a massive pot from Christopher Kruk late on Day 2 to claim his spot at the top of the standings. Aido needs to finish 7th or better in this event to surpass the $6 million dollars in lifetime winnings. More than $3 million of that came in 2017 alone and a win here would cap off Aido's monster year in style.

As expected, the remaining field is stacked with big names from Europe and several from across the pond. EPT12 Prague Main Event winner Hossein Ensan (1,130,000), Ben Heath (966,000) and Viliyan Petleshkov (939,000) round out the top 5. Preben Stokkan (778,000) and JC Alvarado (692,000) both finished runner-up in earlier High Rollers this week and get another shot at a trophy. The bottom of the pack is rounded out by David Peters (515,000), Day 1 chipleader Roman Emelyanov (446,000), Tsugunari Toma (292,000) and the aforementioned Kruk, who survived the big clash but starts with the shallowest stack (186,000).

The action resumes at 12.30 p.m. local time with just under seven minutes remaining in level 20, with blinds at 8,000/16,000 with a running ante of 2,000. All levels last 60 minutes each. The PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand from start to finish to provide all the updates from the floor as we crown the last-ever PokerStars Championship High Roller winner.
