Tom Thomas Eliminated, Bubble Time

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Donys Ivan Agnelli Rojas from Venezuela raised from early position and saw short stack Tom Thomas shove for 29,500 from the big blind. Rojas called and play was halted, awaiting the outcome of two other all-in and call situations over on other tables.

The two other big confrontations ended up with a double for the shorter stack in the hand, so Thomas' tournament life was on the line with everything at risk. It was time for the players to table their cards:

Donys Ivan Agnelli Rojas: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Tom Thomas: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

With poker media, a lot of players, onlookers and the television crew all surrounding the table, the dealer began to deal the community cards.

The {4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop and {5-Spades} turn appeared rather quickly and meant no harm to Thomas. The {A-Hearts} on the river, however, did and with an intense wry smile, he walked away from the table.

Ace on the river did Thomas in, no cash for him. 144 players remain, still hand for hand as the tournament needs to lose one more player before the money stage is reached.
