Khanhnha Vanhtha raised to 16,000 in early position which saw Matthias Auer move all in from middle position for 41,000 and in the big blind, Ronnie Bardah moved all in for 113,000 which saw Vanhtha fold.

Matthias Auer: 5?5?
Ronnie Bardah: K?Q?

"Never won a bounty before," Bardah said longingly "can I win it here?"

The board complied with Bardah as the board ran out 8?6?A?J?Q? and the river queen connected with Bardah's hand to give him an early boost to his stack and his first every mystery bounty slip.

Samuel Bifarella

The 2023 iteration of The $1,100 PokerNews Cup Mystery Bounty saw a massive turnout of 2,331 which created a prize pool of $2,261,070 and leaving only the 292 players who made it into the second day to play for the massive bounty prizes and the first place prize of $218,605.

Leading the way is Manoj Ravi who bagged 1,060,000. Ravi spent most of the day with a massive stack and even four levels away from bag held a bigger stack than any of the previous days’ chip leaders. The Indian born player has secured his first cash from Golden Nugget Las Vegas and with the only stack over one million chips, looks to have a good chance to take a decent amount of bounty prizes. With $125,475 in lifetime earnings, he could get his best career cash to date.
