From under the gun, Michael Attipa limped in, and action folded around to Danny McDonagh. He put in a raise, making it 800 to play. Both the blinds ducked out, and it was back on Attipa. He bumped it up further, putting out a total of 1,600 chips, and McDonagh called.

The flop came {5-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts}. Attipa checked, and McDonagh annouced, "Well, if you got a big pair, you got me," as he slid his last 1,350 chips into the middle. Attipa shrugged and called, turning over {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}. McDonagh happily tabled the {A-Spades} {J-Hearts}, having out-flopped his opponent. The turn and river were the {4-Spades} and the {3-Clubs}, respectively, and McDonagh doubled back up near his starting count, now sitting with 5,200 in chips.
