Saab was dominated and needed to come from behind to avoid elimination. The flop was {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Saab took the lead. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Thillai jumped back in the lead. The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Saab bubbled out in 4th place.

Emad Tahtouh Doubles Up Against the Turtle

It was the battle of the blinds. Emad Tahtouh called from the small blind. David Saab raised to 4,600 from the big blind. Tahtouh called. The flop was {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Tahtouh bet 8,000 and Saab called. The turn was the {Q-Spades}. Tahtouh fired out 12,000 and Saab raised him all in. Tahtouh called and tabled {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for two pair. Saab tossed his hand into the muck. Jonno Pittock, the tournament director asked the dealer to pull his hand out and he exposed the {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Saab was indeed drawing dead. The river was a meaningless {6-Spades}. Tahtouh increased his stack to over 37,000.

Picking On Arul Thillai

Arul Thillai's aggressiveness is hurting his stack. On two hands, he opened up for a raise and was re-raised, once by Emad Tahtouh and just now by David Saab. The one time chipleader's stack has slipped to about 25,000.

Benson Applies Pressure

Emad Tahtouh raised to 3,500 from the cutoff. David Saab called from the button. Gary Benson shoved from the big blind for about 50,000. Tahtouh went into the tank for several minutes.

Billy the Croc laughed and said, "Put the clock on him."

Earlier in the evening, Tahtouh called a clock a couple of times on Tony G. Anyway, Tahtouh didn't need a clock because he decided to fold. Sabb also folded and Benson dragged the pot.

Emad Tahtouh Doubles Up Against Arul Thillai

Gary Benson raised 3,500 from UTG. Arul Thillai re-raised to 10,000. Emad Tahtouh moved all in from his small blind for 9,200. Benson went into the tank then folded pocket eights face up.

Tahtouh: {J-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Thillai:{A-Spades}{4-Spades}

The flop was {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The turn was the {2-Clubs}. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Gary Benson let out a big sigh. Had he called that hand, he would have busted Tahtouh and possibly doubled through Thillai. As is, Tahtouh won the hand and doubled up to over 20,000.
