Pan Outdraws Andrews
The UK's Ben Andrews and Taiwan's Cheng-How Pan tangled in a pot that saw the latter take some chips from the former thanks to a bit of help from the board.
Action was picked up on a flop o f with close to 11,000 in the pot just as Pan led out for 7,000, only to see Andrew's come over the top from late position with a re-raise to 27,000 in total. While Pan did not look all that thrilled to get re-raised he made the call and the dealer burned and turned the turn.
With four to a straight out, that killed all the action and there was no more betting in the hand, with both players checking and then checking again on the turn.
Andrews rolled over for a flopped two pair, but Pan had and the pair up on the river saw him claim the pot and climb to 195,000, while Andrews dropped to 86,500.
