Liu Outkicks Cheng
There were three pre-flop takedowns with Dongzhe Yang raising to 600 and getting no customers in the first and the UK's William Fasano winning the next two with pre-flop three bets from the big and small blind respectively to win back-to-back hands.
Then a decent sized pot played out between Yue Peng Cheng and Mingqin Liu that saw the latter climb towards the top of the leaderboard, though Yi Fan Yang currently still holds that honor.
It was Cheng who was the instigator, making it 600 to go from the hijack, picking up two callers in the form of Liu and Fasano on the cutoff and button respectively.
The flop was checked to Fasano, who took a stab for 1,500. Cheng called and action was back on Liu, who decided to bust out a check-raise and made it 4,500 in total. That was enough to get Fasano to make a quick fold, but Cheng called to take the action heads-up to the turn.
Cheng checked it over to Liu, who fired for 8,000 and after a lengthy visit to the think tank Cheng slid in the call. The river saw Cheng seize the initiative and lead for a bet of 13,000 and Liu threw in a speedy call.
Cheng turned over but was outkicked by Liu, who revealed to rake in the pot and climb to 77,700 while Cheng dropped to 52,500.
