Raise and Fold, Shove and Give Up

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Most of the hands have been players putting each other all-in and none pulling the trigger. Kui Song Wu lost a bunch of chips back to James Chen and Ye Wang has been hanging in there the whole time.

Wu Takes Even More From Chen

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

James Chen raised from the button and Kui Song Wu called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Wu check-raised Chen's continuation-bet to 215,00 and Chen called.

The turn brought them the {J-Spades}, Wu checked again and Chen fired another 345,000 over the line. Wu called again without really having to think long.

The river completed the board with the {8-Hearts} and they both checked.

Wu tabled {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for the flopped full house and that was enough to make Chen muck his own hand.

James Chen put in a stack of red 10,000-value chips for the all-in shove which is what he has been doing regularly over the past half hour. Michael Addamo folded his small blind but Shan Huang called in the big blind for around 260,000.

Shan Huang: {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
James Chen: {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for the river to deal the final blow to Huang's already shrinking stack. The friendly high stakes player made his way from the stage and wishing everyone good luck.

Mikita Badziakouski shoved from the small blind for 510,000 in total and Kui Song Wu snap-called in the big blind.

Mikita Badziakouski: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Kui Song Wu: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for Wu's higher cards to hold to eliminate Badziakouski from the tournament which means Michael Addamo is now the only non-Asian player left.

With five players left, the tournament is now on the bubble. The next player to get eliminated will go home without cashing any money in the Super High Roller.

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Takashi Ogura
Takashi Ogura

Takashi Ogura shoved all in for 610,000 from the cutoff. James Chen was sitting on the button and checked out the shove and the stacks of the rest of the table. Chen decided to also shove, having Ogura covered by 10,000. Michael Addamo asked what the exact amount was and decided to also shove from the small blind, having them both covered. Shan Huang glanced at his cards and quickly got rid of them.

Takashi Ogura: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
James Chen: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The dealer burned a card and the {9-Clubs} came in the window. The rest of the flop was the {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, by the {a-Spades} on the turn Ogura was drawing dead. And when the {8-Hearts} came on the river to complete the board, Chen was confirmed as the new the chip leader by far.
