A pot of around 8,000 emerged to the 10?10?4?7?10? river on which Thijs Hilberts checked with around 20,600 behind. Bonifacio Mondalo simply pushed all-in for 25,300 and that sent Hilberts into a frenzy.

"Will you at least show me one card if I fold?" the Dutchman inquired but received no reply. Ultimately, Hilberts couldn't find a fold and was shown the J?10? for quads tens by Mondalo, mucking his Q?Q? for a full house.

"What a great start into the day," Hilberts joked and re-entered shortly after.

The flagship tournament of the 2023 Poker Dream Manila live series in the Grand Wing Casino at Newport City, Metro Manila has arrived. From May 4 to 7, 2023, the highly anticipated 2023 Poker Dream Manila Main Event with a buy-in of PHP66,000 ($1,211) will determine a champion in the fourth edition of the up and coming live poker series, which emerged one year ago in the Asia-Pacific region.

Previous Main Event champions include Joshua Tjan, Minh Anh Nguyen and Devan Tang and it remains to be seen whether or not any of the former winners will aim to earn a second victory. Tang has already been spotted in the grand ballroom but didn't take part in any of the high-stakes competitions thus far.

A total of three starting days are available across May 4 and 5 with Day 1a getting underway at 1pm local time. Each of the three flights will play down to the money and 15% of the field will advance to receive a portion of the prize pool.

The late registration is open for the first nine levels and unlimited re-entries are available during that time. There will be a 15-minute break every three levels and a 50-minute dinner break upon completion of level nine, after which the registration for the flight officially closes.

All contestants receive 30,000 in chips, which represents 300 big blinds in the first level at 100-100 with a big blind ante of 100. The survivors of the three flights all advance to Day 2 and if some participants should bag up chips more than once, they will carry over the bigger stack and receive a min-cash for the lesser stack.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor during the entire Main Event until a champion has been crowned, and a feature table with cards-up coverage will also be available on the Poker Dream Facebook page as well.
