Boyadjian Can't Beat Pais; Josephy Hops into PCA Main Event

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Mauricio Pais opened to 1,500 from under the gun and was called by Mustapha Kanit and Yervand Boyadjian from the blinds.

On the {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Kanit checked before Boyadjian led out for 1,400. Only Pais called.

The {3-Diamonds} turn checked through to the {3-Hearts} river, Boyadjian fired for 5,100 and was quickly called.

Boyadjian had the {5-}{2-} for threes full of fives but the pot was awarded to Pais as he {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for threes full of queens.

"How do you have queen nine there? I just can't beat you," commented a frustrated Boyadjian.

As that hand played out, Cliff Josephy joined the table.
