Shakerchi Jams Into Stewart; Benger Doubles Through Marsh

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Spades} turn, Scott Stewart bet 240,000 in the big blind and Talal Shakerchi called in the cutoff. The {Q-Spades} appeared on the river and Stewart quickly cut out a bet of 620,000 before sliding it forward. Shakerchi moved all in and Stewart asked for a rough count, which happened to be around 1.65 million. That was enough to force a fold from Stewart.

The very next hand on the same table, Luke Marsh opened to 170,000 and Griffin Benger jammed for 1,380,000, Marsh called instantly.

Griffin Benger: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Luke Marsh: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Marsh took the lead on the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, but it was Benger that had reason to celebrate as soon as the {4-Hearts} turn guaranteed the double up. A meaningless {6-Clubs} came on the river and Benger doubled to an average stack.
