Seat 2: Isaac Haxton, 32, New York, United States - 1,095,000

Isaac Haxton

Isaac "Ike" Haxton was born in New York City. He was raised in Syracuse and considering his childhood, it was inevitable that he would eventually become one of the smartest brains in the world of mind-games. Now 32, Haxton started playing chess when he was four years old. Then he took up Magic: The Gathering, which turned to be a gateway to poker for many professionals.

Haxton is a nosebleed cash game legend, who's been showcasing his talent behind the online screen-names "philivey2694" and "luvtheWNBA". Haxton quickly laddered through stakes, and when he built a solid money cushion, he decided to have a shot at the live tournament glory.

His first live tournament cash came 11 years ago here at the PCA, and it was something special. Haxton finished second in the Main Event, pocketing a whopping $861,789. Fast forward to the present, Haxton sits in 22nd place on the all-time money list with $15.4 million in earnings.

Haxton's résumé features three seven-figure prizes and 28 six-figure cashes. But while Haxton has been collecting great prizes left and right, he has never won any super high roller.
