Stashin Back on Track; Tim Volf Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

It's been a roller coaster of a day for Michael Stashin who at one point was pushing close to 1 million chips. After losing nearly half his stack, Stashin is finally back on track after eliminating Tim Volf.

In the hand, Stashin opened with a raise to 12,000 before Volf moved all in for 104,500. Action folded back to Stashin who dropped into the tank.

"Hold on," Stashin said standing up from his chair. "Let me do some math."

"Twenty-six bigs?" Stashin continued. "I don't think I can fold."

"Actually it's twenty-one bigs," Volf said.

"Oh well," Stashin said. "I guess I did my math wrong"

Stashin eventually decided to call and their hands were turned up.

Stashin: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Volf: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} which kept Stashin in the lead the whole way and allowed him to take down the pot to move back over 700,000 chips while Volf was eliminated from the tournament.
