Kruk Rivers a Consolation Prize

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Christopher Kruk limped in from the small blind and Isaac Haxton raised to 70,000 out of the big blind. Kruk called and the flop fell {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Kruk check-called a bet of 50,000 from Haxton on the flop and the {9-Clubs} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {a-Clubs} completed the board.

Kruk checked again and Haxton knuckled the table behind him. "Ace," Kruk announced as he turned over {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for a missed flush draw, but wound up hitting a pair of aces on the river. Haxton couldn't beat it and sent his cards to the muck.
