Taylor Making a Late Rally

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Thomas Taylor
Thomas Taylor

Thomas Taylor has been stuck on the short stack for pretty much the entire day. He has managed to work his way into the final two tables and is now starting to make a move. Taylor raised to 16,000 from the hijack and Steven Rinaldi defended his big blind.

The dealer fanned the flop of {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Rinaldi checked to Taylor who bet 12,000. Rinaldi check-raised to 36,000 and Taylor called.

The {10-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Rinaldi checked again. Taylor, once again, took the lead in the pot with a bet of 40,000. Rinaldi just called this time and the {7-Spades} completed the board. Rinaldi checked one more time and Taylor fired another 40,000. Rinaldi paid him off and Taylor showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, sending him a much-needed pot.
