Get To Know The Start-Of-The-Day Chip Leader
Nicolas Godoy began the day as chip leader, which is why we thought it prudent to tell you a little bit about the man and the unique circumstances surrounding his participation in the 2013 PCA.
Godoy, who hails from Corrientes, Argentina, won his seat in the PCA Tenth Anniversary promotion for just $10 on PokerStars. He was fast asleep when a friend rang him up and said he was coming over to play the PokerStars satellite, and whil both friends competed , it was Godoy who won the $16,000 package.
Godoy, who is 19 and starts college in March to study Business Administration, then traveled to the Bahamas with his aunt and uncle as his parents thought he was too young to be on his own. Thus far it's proven a fruitful trip with a potential windfall waiting for the qualifier.
