Welcome To Event #8 of the WPT Online Borgata Series: $30K GTD PKO
The WPT Online Borgata Series powered by partypoker US Network continues Saturday night with a pair of high-stakes events, featuring PokerNews coverage of Event #8: $30K GTD Progressive Knockout beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
All week long, the guaranteed prize pools have been exceeded by a large amount, with multiple tournaments seeing turnouts to generate prize pools of more than double their guarantee. Another large field is expected Saturday night With a Progressive Knockout format that sees 50% of each player's buy-in put atop their head as a bounty. Any time a player is eliminated, half of their bounty is automatically collected by the player who captured it, while the other half is added to that player's up-for-grabs bounty.
Registration is open for everybody within the state of New Jersey across any of the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
Players start with 50,000 and blinds of 150/300/40. Unlimited entries and re-entries are available through the first 15 levels of play, all of which will last 10 minutes in length. Late registration will close and the prieze pool will become official at approximately 10:15 p.m. ET upon the end of Level 15, and all subsequent levels will be bumped up to 12 minutes in length for the duration of the tournament.
