Leonard Doubles in The High Roller Big Game

Leonard doubles through Botteon
Leonard doubles through Botteon

partypoker Ambassador Patrick Leonard just put his tournament life at risk against Brunno Botteon who held the chip lead at that point.

Leonard was sitting in the small blind while his Brazilian opponent was in the cutoff. Leonard held the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} while Botteon had the lower pocket pair with the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs} for Leonard to hold with the higher pocket to double up to the chip lead.
