Eight hours after the blog started, PokerNews saw partypoker Ambassador Jason Koon take down this week's The High Roller Big Game for $76,189 but Day 1a of the Irish Open Main Event is still going strong with 255 players left in a field of 822 entries.
But only 123 players will make it through to Day 2 on Monday, April 5 so they still have a bit left to go.
Will Kassouf is sitting in the top spot right now, followed by Harald Sammer, Andreas Puntigam, Mark Radoja, and Laszlo Bujtas in the top five.
Other familiar names in the current top twenty include Justus Held, Dietrich Fast, Cathal Shine, Kevin Parkes, Georgios Zisimopoulos, Bartha Tudor, and Niklas Astedt.
