Staples Out

Jaime Staples raised to 735,000 from the cutoff when the blinds were at 175,000/350,000. He was called by Alexander van der Swaluw on the button and Aleksandr Nosov defended his big blind.

They all checked through the {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop and the {10-Hearts} on the turn to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Nosov tanked and then bet 4,025,000 to put Staples all-in. The partypoker Twitch Streamer took his time too and then decided to make the call for the 3,116,915 he had behind. Van der Swaluw considered his options and then decided to reshove with the biggest stack for Nosov to snap-fold.

Staples tabled the {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for the rivered pair of eights but Van der Swaluw held the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nut-flush to bust Staples in 20th place.

Pedro Madeira is in the lead with over 32 million and followed by Dominik Nitsche (20 million), Vojtech Skalak (19.7 million), David Szep (19.3 million), and Alexander Christoforou (18.9 million).
