A depleted Christophe Panetti ended the day with a bang as he was eliminated during the final levels of the night. The story was also confirmed by Ran Azor who dealt the final blow and may have snatched the lead for Day 1c in the process.
According to Panetti, he raised with 
and Azor three-bet to 13,000, picking up two callers. On a 
flop, Panetti bet 8,500 and called a raise to 21,000 by Azor. Both checked the 
turn and the 
river brought a four-card straight on the board. That prompted the shove of Panetti with his two pair and Azor called with pocket fives for a set!
