Gruissem Jams the River

Level 10 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Philipp Gruissem raised to 55,000 from the hijack and Sean Winter defended his big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Winter checked to Gruissem who continued for 60,000. Winter made the call and the {8-Clubs} hit the turn.

Both players checked to the {9-Diamonds} on the river and Winter led out for 260,000. Gruissem sat in thought for a couple of minutes before pushing his entire stack into the middle. Winter quickly folded and Gruissem earned himself the pot.

Meanwhile, Kristen Bicknell has re-entered the field after busting her short stack early on in the day. Both Vicente Delgado and Pavel Plesuv have been eliminated but there are still two more levels of late registration.
