Day 1 of the PokerStars Red Dragon ?250,000 High Roller started today at 5 p.m. local time for all interested players in the Okada Manila. The last high roller of the festival gives players the last chance to cash big here at the inaugural festival. Many winners have already been crowned with the wins of Lester Edoc in the Super High Roller and Florencio Campomanes in the Main Event reported here on PokerNews. Liuheng Dai won two High Rollers in Jeju, will Edoc or Campomanes be able to win two titles too?

The players started with 50,000 in chips for their buy-in and had twelve levels of 40 minutes each on the schedule for Day 1. Late registration remains open for the first ten levels of the day with players allowed to reenter an unlimited amount of times if they run out of chips.

Day 2 will start at 1 p.m. local time on Friday, January 11 with all surviving players return to battle it out for one of the last trophies and the prize money that comes with it. PokerNews will provide the chip counts at the end of the play today and pick up the live reporting from the start of Day 2 so make sure to return then.
