Thurlow and Jaeschke Play a Couple
Hand #1: Cody Jaeschke saw action folded to him in the hijack and opened to 20,000. He received a call from Justin Thurlow, who was on the button and the two went heads up to a flop of . Both players checked.
The turn was and Jaeschke bet 30,000. Thurlow postured for a few moments and then slid out a raise to 70,000. Jaeschke took a little while to think about his decision and then announced he was all in. Thurlow sent his cards to the muck.
Hand #2: Jaeschke opened to 20,000 again from middle position on the following hand and Thurlow called from the cutoff. They went heads up again to a flop of and Jaeschke checked. Thurlow fired out 22,000 and Jaeschke sent his cards to the muck.
With the pot, Thurlow finds himself just shy of 600,000 in chips with 31 players remaining and about one-third of Level 18 left on the clock.
