Turner Jams

Ori Miller opened the pot to 22,000 from under the gun. Next to act, Jon Turner went all in for 147,000 and action folded to Perica Bukara in the cutoff. He seemed very interested in playing, but laid it down. The rest of the table folded as well and Turner took the pot to move back to about 180,000.

The players may be on the bubble of the $25,000 High Roller Freeze-Out, but that hasn't stopped the big pots from being player. These guys are all seasoned in the game of poker and although bubbling sucks, it's not going to make them back down.

Jon Turner raised to 18,000 and David Benyamine called in position. The flop came down {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Turner fired 21,000. Benyamine raised to 69,000 and then Turner reraised. Benyamine moved all in and Turner made the call. Benyamine was all in for 258,000 total with the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Turner held the {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush draw.

The turn brought the {A-Hearts} and the river the {Q-Clubs}. Benyamine's hand held and he doubled to about 560,000 chips. Turner dropped to around 185,000.

Bukara Applies Pressure

Sam Trickett raised to 18,000 from the hijack. Jon Turner called on the button and Perica Bukara called from the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and all three players checked. The {2-Spades} hit the turn and Bukara bet 35,000. Trickett called and Turner popped it, making it 96,000 to go. Bukara sat still for two minutes before sliding in an additional 120,000. Both Trickett and Turner folded immediately and Bukara took the pot, upping his stack to just over a million.

Turner and Trickett both drop to just under 500,000.

Rule 24 Results in Change in Payout Structure

Well this certainly came as a surprise to the remaining players. They were recently informed of a change in the payout structure.

The reason? Rule 24. What is Rule 24?

Companies which have gambling nights should write to the Ministry of Finaance regarding any and all promotions it conducts. If they require the license, then the conditions ordered by the Ministry of Finance are 5% pf the prize pool is to be withheld. The player can later report the withheld sum to their country of residence. The casino holds no responsibility for the reimbursement of the withholdings.

We will have the new payout structure momentarily.

Miller Makes Monster Call Against Trickett

With about 170,000 in the pot and the board reading {7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Sam Trickett bet 240,000, about the rest of Ori Miller's remaining stack.

Miller sat calm and collected, replaying the hand in his head. He opted to call after a few minutes and Trickett did not seem thrilled, turning over {8-Spades}{7-Spades}. Miller tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and won the huge pot to soar to about 655,000. Trickett takes a hit down to about 520,000.
