Charlie Hook raised to 20,000 before Ryan Schmidt reraised to 62,000. Action went back over to Hook and he moved all in for 284,000 total. Schmidt made the call, although he didn't look too happy about doing so.

Hook tabled {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} against Schmidt's pocket eights -- {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs}.

Hook caught an ace on the flop and a king on the turn as the board ran out {A-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {K-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. He now has around 550,000 chips while Schmidt dropped over half his stack and is left with 250,000.
