Weimer Sends Cutler Deep In the Tank

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Zachary Weimer
Zachary Weimer

Zachary Weimer raised to 32,000 from under the gun, and both the small blind Joseph Cutler, and the big blind James Allie made the call.

The flop came A?3?5? and it was checked to Weimer, who bet out 40,000. Cutler made the call, and Allie folded.

Both players checked after the 4? on the turn.

The river was the 8? and Cutler bet 56,000, before Weimer raised to 150,000. This sent Cutler deep into the tank, debating his decision for over three minutes. Cutler eventually said "I rivered a set" as he tossed his cards in the muck to give Weimer the pot.

Weimer Gets Kings to Double Up

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

David Kuder raised from under the gun, and when it folded to the cutoff Kevin Grabel, he three-bet to 75,000. Then Zachary Weimer on the button four-bet all in for 286,000. The blinds and Kuder folded, before Grabel asked to confirm the count. Once he got the total, he said, "I can't even fold" and told Weimer "Im sorry if I bust you with this hand" and put in the chips to make the call and put Weimer at risk.

Zachary Weimer: K?K? All in
Kevin Grabel: 9?6?

Grabel tried to make a move, but ran straight into the kings of Weimer, and would need a lot of help to improve. The 3?J?10? did not bring any outs for Grabel, but after the K? on the turn, Grabel now had a gut shot straight draw, despite Weimer turning a set. However, the river was the J? and improved Weimer to a full house, kings full of jacks, and secured the double up.
