Jazzar Finds Jack to Double Off Tantillo

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Maroun Jazzar
Maroun Jazzar

Fausto Tantillo raised to 300,000 from early position before Maroun Jazzar shoved all in for 2,265,000 on the button. Yuksel Savsa in the blinds tanked for a moment before he mucked {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, while Tantillo asked for a count and called to put Jazzar at risk.

Maroun Jazzar: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Fausto Tantillo: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Savsa turned away from the table as he would've hit his set. Jazzar remained ahead on the {10-Spades} turn, while the {8-Hearts} river sealed his double up.

Spasov Hits the River to Dent Yaghmai's Stack

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Simeon Spasov opened to 300,000 from early position and was called by Nariman Yaghmai in the hijack.

Spasov continued for 250,000 on the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Yaghmai called to see the {5-Diamonds} on the turn. Spasov slowed down and checked this time, and Yaghmai checked behind.

The river came the {k-Spades} and Spasov fired out another 775,000. Yaghmai went into his time banks before he flicked in a chip to signify a call. Spasov showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a rivered pair of kings and Yaghmai held onto his hand starring at the board in silence before finally mucking.

Yossi Eluz
Yossi Eluz

Just a few hands after losing to Simeon Spasov’s Kings, Yossi Eluz moved all in for 1,100,000 from under the gun. Action folded around to Spasov in the cutoff who called while the remaining players got out of the way to put Eluz at risk.

Yossi Eluz: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Simeon Spasov: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Eluz would need to win a flip to survive and was able to do so as the board ran out {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to improve him to an ace-high flush.

Spasov Finds Kings To Leave Eluz Short

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Simeon Spasov opened to 240,000 from late position and Yossi Eluz defended in the big blind.

Eluz checked and then called a continuation of 120,000 from Spasov on a flop of {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Both players checked through the {10-Clubs} turn to the {8-Spades} river at which point Eluz bet out 500,000. Spasov quickly called and turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} which was strong enough to beat the counterfeited {3-}{3-} of Eluz.

Navid Samavati Eliminated in 19th Place ($17,070)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Navid Samavati
Navid Samavati

Action folded to Roman Kolotiuk on the button who used a time bank card before mucking. Navid Samavati in the small blind, though, pushed all in for 1,820,000. Fausto Tantillo, from the big blind, asked for a count before he called.

Navid Samavati: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Fausto Tantillo: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Both players hit their ace on the {5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop, while the {j-Spades} on the turn left Samavati drawing dead but opened the possibility of a chop. The {8-Spades} on the turn, though, was not what Samavati was hoping for as he became the first casualty of Day 4.
